How It Works ~ It's All Based on Aromatherapy
Lavender, Chamomile & Peppermint were best proven to calm the central nervous systems of the dogs we tested our product on. These 3 combined herbs increase your pet's Alpha waves, the brain activity that occurs when one is in a quiet, relaxed state; inhaling these also diminishes the brain's Beta waves which stimulate and activate awareness. So as your pet breathes the gentle aromas inside its bandana, a natural, peaceful calm takes the edge off of fear & anxiety in about 5 to 15 minutes.

Washable & Refillable
The bandana is washable and its herbs are refillable. To machine wash, simply open up the hook-n-loop enclosure, empty its herb & aroma-granule contents into a bowl and set aside, then replace them once your pet bandana has dried. To renew its aromatherapy properties at any time, you may re-order an Herb Refresh Pac filled with freshly scented herbs & aroma-granules. Many of our customers order extra herbs up front for their pet bandana. Herbs will stay fresh in their foil pouch until you are ready to replace your bandana's old fill.
CAT OWNERS: If this is for your cat, please let us know in your order notes if you'd prefer we leave out the peppermint; as it can be toxic to felines if breathed for extended periods of time. Your bandana's Herbal Pac will be filled only with Lavender & Chamomile.

Your bandana is machine washable: open the hook-n-loop enclosure, empty the herbs & aroma granules into a bowl, wash and dry the bandana, then refill. To renew the aromatherapy at any time, order an Herb Refresh Pac of freshly scented herbs that stay fresh in their foil pouch until you need them.
